Hymie is the connective tissue of LearnSmartly’s global ecosystem—bridging practice with purpose across organisations, institutions, and individuals hungry for transformation.
As an Executive Coach (PCC) and team facilitator, Hymie cultivates strategic alliances that bring LearnSmartly’s assessment methodology into universities, business schools, corporate academies, and online learning platforms. His approach embodies the “who before what” philosophy, ensuring every partnership amplifies LearnSmartly’s impact.
What drives Hymie isn’t merely organisational effectiveness but elevation of consciousness—the moment when individuals, leaders, and teams recognise patterns that have silently shaped their development. He’s building LearnSmartly as a legacy that will evolve beyond its creators, touching generations to come.
He measures success not by metrics but by transformed lives, bringing the same presence to his roles as father, partner, and friend as he does to his professional mission.
Colin Adam is the architect behind LearnSmartly’s transformative assessment methodology. As a psychology graduate turned learning revolutionary, Colin has spent decades challenging conventional wisdom about how humans develop and grow.
After pioneering the application of the Enneagram in corporate South Africa, Colin co-founded Ennea International Group where he developed the FIVE LENS platform—the cognitive framework that would eventually evolve into LearnSmartly. His work spans continents and contexts, from executive coaching to organisational transformation across sectors including finance, education, and technology.
What sets Colin apart isn’t just his credentials (though he holds an ICF Professional Certified Coach designation and was among South Africa’s first to achieve this recognition). It’s his relentless curiosity about the gap between human potential and performance.
When not mapping cognitive architectures, Colin is traversing long-distance running routes, exploring new music, or finding inspiration in poetry—all while maintaining that learning happens best when we venture beyond our comfortable patterns.
David, founder of Learning Advisory, challenges the boundaries of what’s possible in education by breaking free from conventional learning and outdated metrics. He partners with bold academic and corporate leaders who know that real growth comes from measuring what truly matters.
Through a unique blend of cognitive science and entrepreneurial thinking, David transforms learning investments from cost centres into engines of growth. His approach balances accountability with human potential, creating experiences that truly engage and endure.
His leadership journey through SAE Institute, CIEE, Educor, and Henley Business School has shaped a powerful perspective on how we learn and grow. Today, as host of #CoCuriousPodcast and Strategic Partner of LearnSmartly, David works with global education leaders who are ready to break free from conventional learning and rewrite the metrics of success.
